| People backstage at last nights show are saying that there was some kind of altercation between David Grange and Bruiser Borden. Details are not clear, but word is that the altercation may have gotten physical. So much for Bruiser getting the title next week; Grange has a bad reputation for throwing his Clout around backstage and may very well screw Bruiser out of his chances at the title. |

Sources close to GLCW claim that Max Quinn has just hired his younger brother Henry to be the ring announcer for the promotion. It's unknown, at the moment, what Henry's qualifications are, but rest assures, this can't be a good sign so early in the promotions rebuilding process.
In addition it has been verified that both David and Patricia Grange (Nephew and Niece to former owner Hubert Grange) are still on the roster despite their total lack of talent. Next thing you know, they'll be giving David the Midwest title. |

Maxamilian Quinn, the new owner of Great Lakes Championship Wrestling has officially cleared the GLCW roster. The promoter was quoted as saying "It's time to start with a clean slate. Some members of the old roster will be brought back, but a lot of the dead weight and more expensive talent will have to find work somewhere else. We hope to build some new names and establish our own brand of wrestling which combines a sense of Old School style with creative storylines and fresh faces." When pushed about who will be no the promotion's new roster he simply said, "You'll have to wait and see."
Former Owner Hubert Grange was unreachable for comment.

Kayfabe news has gained some additional information about Maxamilian Quinn, the new owner of Great Lakes Championship Wrestling. Quinn, it appears, has no prior experience in the wrestling industry. For the last 10 years, Quinn has worked for a number of advertising agencies, but the true source of his wealth has yet to be determined. Rumors abound of shady dealing and back room buisiness transactions being the source of his success...then again those are just rumors. |
| Great Lakes Championship Wrestling Under new Management! |

Great Lakes Championship Wrestling was transferred to new ownership this morning. GLCW has been owned by Hubert Grange since its inception some 30 years ago. Three months ago Grange announced that he would be retiring from the wrestling business and that he was closing down the promotion for good. Sources claim that entrepreneur Maxamilian Quinn approached the aging grappler soon after the announcement to discuss the possibilities of buying the promotion. Grange, who always claimed he would take his promotion to the grave with him, must have made quite a profit to be willing to turn over the reins of his pride and joy to Quinn.
Specifics about the deal are sketchy at best, but sources close to the promotion claim Grange will maintain partial control of the company. We will have more news as it comes to us.
